6yearsary weekend

This weekend was my boyfriend and I's six year anniversary =)

Saturday:
We walked around 5th Ave I stopped by Bergdorf's and picked up a Tom Ford lipstick in Pink Dusk. I absolutely LOVE it. It's the perfect shade of pink, stays on long, and feels really comfortable on your lips, and of course the packaging is great.





Then after we went downtown to Cafe Habana for their corn.


For dinner we went to Shabu-Tatsu on E. 10th Street so yum ! The wait was long since the place doesn't have many tables, but it was well worth it. The atmosphere is nice and I actually preferred the downstairs area because it was quiet.

I definitely recommend the prime rib eye! I actually ordered another order after we finished this plate.


A couple stores down was this dessert place with macaroons !


All good except the rose flavored one, which tasted like tea to me.


Sunday: Short Hills mall with my fam


Sam bought me a ring from Henri Bendel. So many cute things in there and tons of bling! You can buy this ring here.




I also went to La Maison Du Chocolat and got a 6 pack of macaroons


Whenever I go to Short Hills I have to go in my favorite store, Aritzia. Everything comes in xxs which is amazing! I bought a basic white tee. Surprisingly I don't own a white tee and all the basics at Aritzia are so soft I just had to buy one.


I also went to Bloomies to look for wedges, but instead I found this gorgeous Free People dress. I guess on normal heighted people it would be a skirt, but for me it's a dress. The color is a peach pink so perfect for the spring, I wish the lighting in my room was better so you could see the real color. The cashier was also super nice she gave me 15% off even though it wasn't on sale and I wasn't opening a Bloomies card!


The back of the dress has this beautiful lace up details.


Lastly I got Sam a sweater and shoes from Banana Republic. They were having an envelope special and in ours was 30% off our entire purchase, then lucky Sam inside the bag he got another coupon for 50% off in March!

Both Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth killed it at the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2011 presentation !

valentines day

Sam and I celebrated Valentines day on Sunday since we both had work on the actual day. First we went to Crumbs to get cupcakes then had dinner with Gi and Pete. First we had reservations for this restaurant in Long Branch that was right next to the ocean, but the service was horrible so we left and went to Buona Sera in Red Bank. I highly recommend that restaurant the portions are big and the food is dee-lish!

Looking for the perfect pair of flare leg jean ? I've been on the search for my perfect pair and I think I've found them. The new brand Mother has a really great pair in a light wash that's perfect for Spring. Some flare/wide leg jeans hide your bum, but these fit perfect. The material is super soft and the fit is snug. I can't wait to wear mine with wedges and a flowy shirt tucked in with a belt !

tom ford lippies

At $45 a pop these aren't cheap, but they look and feel so luxurious. From the white and gold packaging, to the creamy texture, and of course the clicking of the cap! I NEED one in my collection.

i've joined the bal bag club

My brand spanking new Balenciaga Black 2011 GSH City. It was a steep price, but I will justify it by saying that it is a great investment. It is a classic bag that anyone can carry, yet it has an edge. The leather is scrumptious and incredibly light weight. My favorite thing about the bag is that there are no logos only someone that knows of the brand would be able to tell what you are carrying.

current obsession

Though I only own one YSL arty ring it is hands down my favorite ring and I've been wanting to get more. I love these new ones !!! YSL rings are a great accessory to any outfit and are really worth the price tag, which compared to other brands isn't even that much. LOVE LOVE LOVE !

Today I went to Ulta and The Face Shop to pick up a few things. I just got a new Ulta catalogue in the mail so of course I wanted to go and redeem my $3.50 off a $10 purchase lol. After checking at both my malls I finally found the Katy Perry for OPI Teenage Dream nail polish ! I needed to buy something else to make my purchase $10 so I got my bf an eos lipbalm. After that I went to The Face Shop to get some more lashes. They didn't have one of the pairs I lost, but I ended up picking up a few extra items: cute nail decals, a peel off face mask, and eye masks for my mom. Then the sales associate gave me a sample of bb cream and two samples of body wash =)
